    Come alone or with friends. Turn up ready to play and the organiser will take care of the setup.

Your first game

A few things that make the first session easier.

It is normal to feel a little unsure when you do not know anyone yet. Arrive with these simple pointers and the organiser will help you settle in.

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early.Find the pitch, get your bearings and say hello.
  • Tell the organiser you are new.They can talk you through the session and introduce you.
  • Teams are organised for you.There are no playground picks.

Our sessions range from £6 to £9.50 depending on the venue and last an hour. There are no sign-up fees or hidden costs. You only pay when you play.

FAQ

Common questions

What if I need to drop out?
Just use the All About Football app to mark yourself out and we'll handle the rest.
What if it's full when I join?
Games are first-come, first-served. But we do have a reserve system. If a game is full, you'll be placed on the reserve list and can fill in if there's a dropout.
What are the games like?
Games are friendly and laid-back, usually 9v9, 8v8, or 7v7 on a half-pitch. We have a half-time break, switch ends, and keep the atmosphere light. You do not need to bring a ball, bibs or other equipment – everything is provided. Just show up ready to play!
Are there any game rules?
To keep it friendly, we say no sliding and no heavy challenges. After each goal, play restarts from the keeper rather than the centre spot.
How are teams decided?
When you sign up, you'll provide your preferred position and skill level. We use that information to build balanced teams for a mix of abilities. Everyone takes a turn to be keeper, with turns coordinated by the organisers.
Do I need a team?
No, you can come solo or bring friends! You'll be placed in a team on the day.
How often can I play?
You're welcome to play as regularly or occasionally as you like, with no commitment required. You only pay when you play.
Can I play more than one night/location?
Yes, you can play as many nights as you want. Just browse events for each venue in the All About Football app and sign up to the ones you want!
What's the skill level like?
We have a mix of ages and abilities, from casual players to more experienced ones. Teams are balanced with the aim of helping everyone get involved and enjoy the game.
Are you insured?
Yes. All About Football Ltd. has public liability insurance.
